The changes in geographical perception over the course of history have also affected many other issues. Geographical perception constitutes the focal point of this change and consists of the interaction between man and nature. The changes in geographical thought throughout history have indirectly and directly led to changes and transformations in the definition, content, method, technique, tools, and equipment of geography. This study will endeavor to present what has changed over the past century in the context of historical geography. This study deals with the adventure of historical geography in Türkiye, starting from 1923 to the present, over four 25-year periods. The main source of this article is undoubtedly the studies that can be evaluated within the subjects of historical geography during this period. This process has been completed by taking into account the works of geographers and researchers from the geography community. In addition, the evaluation of this century of historical geography in Turkey only includes the works of Turkish geographers.
