İÖ 6. yüzyılda yaşamış bir logographos olan Akousilaos Yunan edebiyatının ilk aşamasında epos'tan logos'a, başka bir deyişle şiirden düzyazıya geçişte önemli isimlerden biridir. Ayrıca Hesiodos ve Pherekydes gibi felsefi evren tasarımının öncülerinden sayılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı ise Akousilaos'un günümüze kalan fragmanlarının çevirisini sunarak onun söz konusu süreçte üstlendiği rolü vurgulamaktır.
Acusilaus, a logographer lived in the 6th BC., is one of the important names in the first phase of Greek literature, namely the process from epos to logos, in other words from poetry to prose. Like Hesiod and Pherecydes, he is among the forerunners of philosophical cosmogony and the aim of this study is to emphasize the role that he played in this related process by representing the translations of his extant fragments.
